First Group Assignment
Presentation group (Group 1): Read Chapter 4 of Lazar et al. Choose 3 HCI papers that involve significant analysis of data using any of the statistical analysis described in Chapter 4 from ACM digital library. Email the whole class the papers (not the links). I need each paper to be at least 8 pages (or 5000 words). Additionally, I need you to do the following tasks:
- Download SPSS trial and install.
- Play with this file and present a variety of analysis.
Discussion group (Group 2): Read the 2 papers and prepare a critique regarding the statistical analysis used.
Fri, Sep 30: Students Present Project Idea For Their Class Project (In <3 Min):
- What piece of technology is going to be evaluated (describe it if not widely known).
- Why interested in evaluating or how to get access to that piece of technology (if it's not in public domain).
- Where the participants will be recruited from. How many can you get (estimated)?

For this presentation, instead of summarizing a particular chapter, I would like each of you to do 1 of each method (of your choice) from the 4 categories of Ideo Methods. Please start the presentation by reminding students what each of the methods you chose is about. Then present your own work. I need video/audio/prototype demoes of your methods of choice.
